In the world of resonance and energy work, the “readiness” of the individual plays a significant role in how a session is perceived.
There are several reasons why someone might feel like “nothing happened,” and it often has more to do with their internal state than the technology itself.
1. The “Numbness” Factor (Survival Mode)
When someone has been in a state of chronic stress or trauma for years, their nervous system often adopts a “freeze” or “dissociative” response as a survival mechanism. They become functionally numb to protect themselves from overwhelming emotions.
- The Result: Because they are so disconnected from their physical sensations, they might not “feel” the subtle shifts in frequency during the session.
- The Analogy: It’s like trying to hear a whisper in a room where a jet engine is running. The “noise” of their internal survival state is so loud that the subtle “whisper” of the Egg’s resonance hasn’t broken through yet.
2. Resistance to Release
Trauma is often stored in the body as a form of protection. If a person subconsciously feels that letting go of that “armor” is unsafe, their system will resist the healing process.
- Subconscious Guarding: Healing requires a level of vulnerability. If the person isn’t consciously or subconsciously ready to face what lies beneath the trauma, they may “block” the experience.
- Timing: Healing isn’t a linear path. Sometimes the body needs several sessions just to feel safe enough to begin the actual work of releasing.
3. Expectations vs. Reality
We live in a “quick-fix” culture. Some people go into a session expecting a “lightning bolt” moment or a dramatic emotional epiphany.
- Subtle Shifts: Often, the most profound healing is quiet. A person might leave thinking “nothing happened,” but then notice three days later that they didn’t get angry in traffic, or they slept through the night for the first time in weeks. If they are looking for a “show,” they might miss the actual “shift.”
4. Cumulative Effects
For some, the first few sessions are simply about de-layering. Like peeling an onion, the Egg may be working on the outer layers of exhaustion and physical tension before it can reach the deeper emotional or traumatic core.
5. Hydration and Conductivity
On a purely physical level, the body needs to be a good conductor for resonance to work. If someone is severely dehydrated or has a very high “toxic load,” the sound and light frequencies may struggle to move through the cellular memory effectively.
It’s a reminder that everyone’s journey is unique. While some have “life-saving” moments, others are simply planting seeds that might take a little longer to bloom.
